What technical itinerary and agronomic management?
I had a plot available between the winter barley harvested in June and the sunflower sown in April, so why not give it a try. Before sowing, I incorporated 4 t/ha of compost with a disc stubble cultivator. A few days later, we sowed at 3 cm depth. No weeding before sowing. Sowing took place in June.
What advantages have you found with camelina?
It's a good cover crop. The establishment costs are quite low, which makes it a low-risk crop. If the climate is good and we manage to harvest, it provides additional income.
The advantage of Regenrate
Regenrate provides the seed and takes care of the markets, so I thought why not give it a try. I received advice on sowing dates and rates. The team was present throughout the crop's development. Additionally, there was a WhatsApp group with other producers to share the crop's progress in their area, very interesting.
